I've been an artist pretty much my whole life. When I was little, I was winning all sorts of coloring contests and art awards. Through junior high, art was forgotten... until high school where I chose to take art again. I was glad I did, because I received honors in all 4 of my grade 10, 11, and 12 art classes. Mostly I focused on oil & acrylic painting and charcoal drawing as well as poetry. After high school, I continued to paint in my free time, as well as write poetry.



In 2002, my poetry was published by an Australian published by the name of Mockfrog Design Press. 54 of my poems were published in a chapbook called 'Drinking From A Broken Glass.' 100 copies were printed and were sold out in about 1 month.



Over the last 4 years, I got interested in digital art. I started to learn and teach myself Paint Shop Pro, and eventually I learned some simple basics of Photoshop. In February of 2005, I decided I wanted to learn all the features of Photoshop to create art. I started with some basic tutorials, and eventually started to learn how to do pretty much anything. I started to post my work on Deviant Art, and as I got a large number of positive responses to my work, it inspired me to do more.



I am also an awarded flute player, self taught.
